"Why do you speak as if you were aliens?" I asked, scowling, putting the glass on the table.

The woman sighed and then laid a hand on my shoulder, and when she opened her mouth to speak, the bell rang. I jumped, scared, and looked like I was the only one.

"It’s the doctor," Austin said, "I don’t have time to stay here, I go back to the packhouse, and I take care of everything else," he said, and then I go to the door and "Doc," he said, and then he went out.

The doctor returned to the house "The good mood suits our Beta," he said, and I frowned "If you want, you can give me a room," he commented, giggling.
