Ava

I sighed and continued to look out the picture out the car window, while my head was focused on the memory of that pair of gray eyes that seemed to have the power to look into my soul.

The alpha... I thought with an excited sigh.

From the first moment I entered that office, and my eyes rested on them, I had a sensation, as if an invisible thread drew me to them, as if I knew them from before. My body was thrilled, and my breathing accelerated.

There was something about them... that I didn't know how to explain. My whole body felt drawn to them without me being able to control it. When they had performed that kind of ritual... when our blood had mixed... I could have moaned with pleasure.

When they touched me, when our skin came into contact, I felt sparks all over my body.

What was wrong with me? Why did I feel this way?

I shook my head and sighed again.

"To what do I owe all these sighs?" Connor suddenly asked as he drove.

I jumped. I almost forgot he was in the car with me.
