Conflicted emotions

Nurse Kaitlin was shocked because she wasn't expecting Raina to mutter something like that. She stood up and slowly strolled to the other side of the bed where Raina huddled herself as she wept profusely, her knees wrapped around her chest with her hands shielding her body.

"I understand how you're feeling," she said, her voice low and soothing. "It's okay to be scared and overwhelmed. But I want you to know that you have options. You don't have to make any decisions right now. I'm here for you, no matter what you choose but at the same time, aborting this baby isn't preferable. Think of this baby as a blessing, and daydream about how he or she looks. Whether he or she will resemble you or their father. Wonder the names you will love to give them.
