Loving you more

As the sun began to set, Raina's eyes fluttered open. She blinked a few times, her vision blurry, and her head fuzzy. She lay still for a moment, taking in her surroundings. Slowly, her senses began to return, and she realized that she was in her bed, in her own room. She couldn't easily recall any memory of how she had gotten there, but she was grateful to be at home. Her body felt heavy, and her head throbbed as if she had been in a deep sleep for hours.

As Raina's mind began to clear, she remembered the events of the day. The doctor's visit, the news of her pregnancy, the media's judgement, and her father's disappointment in her, including the panic and confusion she had felt. She remembered breaking down and sobbing, and then feeling too tired to move. She vividly recalled that she had passed out when pleading with her angry father who she assumed must have brought her into her room, and now she was waking up to the soft glow of the sunset.
