Kinakabahan ako at hindi mapakali habang tinatahak namin ang daan papunta sa lugar ng kaarawan ng kanilang Lolo. Si Zaiden ay nagpadala lamang ng isang tao para sunduin ako. Abala siya dahil kailangan na nandoon sila lahat.

The car ride was long and quiet. I looked out the window and saw the city change into the countryside. The big buildings and busy streets became open fields and quiet roads. This change made me feel even more unsure and worried.

Habang papalapit kami, mas lalo na tuloy akong kinabahan. I was going to meet their family and I didn't know what to expect. Would they like me? Or would they think I didn't belong? I hurt their son, I should expect that they won't like me.
