Something was happening today and Stacey could sense it. The maids were working extra hours and the whole house was sparkling clean. She couldn’t tell if it was the rejection she did with Ronan that made him send her breakfast to her room but she didn’t care, if anything was going to happen to her, she was going to enjoy the time she had left.

Without his permission, she and the maid plucked some flowers from the garden yesterday and had gone to the town to sell it. Even though the money was with the maid, she didn’t care. The maid insisted to keep it for her, she would likely lose her job if the alpha finds her helping her to get money which she might use to escape and wasn’t ready for that.
