NINE MONTHS LATER

Stacey sat on a couch, her large belly protruding as she tried to find a comfortable position. She was more than tired of being pregnant and more than ready to have the babies out of her.

She loved the connection she felt with her children but she hated how her legs got swollen at the slightest discomfort. The children always chose the wrong times to be active. When she would want some rest would be the times that they wanted to kick around.

She was grateful to Ronan for being the understanding man that he was. She had poured most of her frustration and mood swings on him, yet all her ever did was make sure that she was okay and if she needed anything.

She started to feel contractions on the early hours of the morning and she thought it was time. The doctor was sent for and he told them to wait for some time before confirming if it wasn’t just cramps that Stacey was feeling but the actual labour.
