Chapter 16

“Good morning, your highness,” the maid greeted the next day as she served the food.

Stacey sat in front of Ronan, only the table separating them from being close to each other. It was just the both of them just like yesterday, and she couldn’t get why the rest of his friends were not coming again. Her eyes were lowered, and her heart was pounding heavily without any cause.

After his words yesterday, he had barged out of her room, asking her not to try anything funny because she wouldn’t like the repercussions and deciding to steer clear of her also. She was not interested in what he felt about her, all she needed now was her plan to work and soon she should be outside of these walls.

“Are you not going to eat?” She heard his deep voice that always made something steer in her every time it sounded.

“I will. Thank you.” She retorted.
