Jackson was sitting in the recliner with his feet tucked under him and nibbling on his fingers. Nathan sat on a kitchen chair he’d pulled from the dining area in front of the couch, facing the group with a solemn look on his face and elbows resting on his knees. They left Luxembourg about an hour ago and they still had another two hours and twenty or so minutes before they reached France. Breakfast this morning was a little tense what with the weight of their decision and knowing they’d have to tell the company. Jackson had gotten up early to make meals that would last the boys at least for the next two days, not knowing when he and Nathan would be back.
