Chapter 24

---Scotland---

It had been three days now since my father and I arrived in Scotland, and most of it consisted of unpacking and greeting everyone we haven't seen in years. I still haven't had the chance to even see Jamie; the thought of doing so made me nervous. My father asked me if I wanted him to be with me when I did decide to meet her, but I declined. I wanted to do it by myself.

My cousin Helena and I walked the small village of Glencoe, wanting some fresh air from all of the family craziness trapped inside of my Grandmother's house. Everyone was coming out for Helena's sweet sixteen, and since it would have a traditional Scottish/Celtic theme, it was going to be a mad house; my aunts and uncles have a thing for Celtic dancing music. Especially when it comes from a live band.
