Chapter 30

Just as the the thud was heard, a cold wind rushed from nowhere and hit my face. 

The universe was mocking me from every possible angle,v telling me I had failed, daring me to challenge it and fate.

I wanted to scream papi and father, but noticed the words were safer inside my mouth.

I slowly moved towards the balcony rails, trying to hold my world and universe together. He wasn't dead, he wasn't dead, stay positive..  

I couldn't loose two parents within two weeks, each going right before my eyes, making sure I saw them go, making sure I had their last cry as death consumed them.

I felt myself grow dizzy and held onto the rails to support my weight and pain. All the hurt that had gathered inside me over these past few years had built a wall, too hard for me to break out of, soft enough for all darkness or anyone to break in . I was weak
