Chapter 7

Tycelyn's POV

I looked at my watch, checking the time for the 100th time since I got to the cafe. I and Daphne were supposed to meet up here but she hasn't arrived for some reason. I knew it was just five minutes late but these five minutes seem like eternity.

"I'm sorry I kept you waiting," Daphne sat on the chair and kept her bag on the other chair.

Seeing Daphne made tears well up in my eyes and memories flooded in, "Daph," I got up from my sit, hugged her, and burst into tears

"Tycelyn are you okay?" Daphne asked, "What did they do to you?" She pulled away from the hug searching my face.

"No, I…I…just miss you," I sobbed louder.

"You missed me, that's why you are crying? But we saw some days back," Daphne chuckled and I wiped away the tears from my eyes because I couldn't explain shit.

"Don't mind me, I was being dramatic," I forced a smile on my face as I sat next to her.

"So why did you call?" Daphne relaxed in her chair.
