Chapter 8

Tycelyn's POV

"I hate when the rain touches me," Kenzal glanced at his shoulder and the rain was pouring from the edge of the umbrella onto his shoulder.

"I'm sorry," I apologized and followed his footsteps till we got to the entrance of the door.

"Thank you," Kenzal nodded his head in acknowledgment of what I had just said, gave the umbrella to the concierge standing right in front of the door, and entered the hotel without sparing me a glance.

"What did I just witness?" Daphne gushed when I entered the hotel, "And as a journalist, I got pictures of it."

"Oh, what do you plan on using the pictures to do?" I sat on the chair meant for my family.

"I work for the media so I will use it well," Daphne handed me her phone to check the pictures.

I took the phone from her hand. The pictures were beautiful, both Kenzal and I walking on the stairs while it was raining and he was holding an umbrella over my head. If I didn't know better, I would have thought we were couples.
