The guy in front of me kept talking about how great he was and how lucky I had been to meet him. I downed the rest of the wine and smiled at him as Grace had asked me to.

"For me, women should stay at home, taking care of the children. Although at your age, I think it will be difficult to have children, although there are already many methods to do so," he said.

I looked at him with a raised eyebrow, incredulous at what I had just heard.

"What do you do for a living?" I asked him.

He looked at me self-assuredly and took a sip from his glass; then he smiled at me.

"I invest in the stock market," he said proudly.

I laughed, a small laugh, one of those that are very sarcastic.

"I need to go to the bathroom," I told him.
