Chapter 26: Everlasting Night

When the word ‘babe’ escaped his rosy lips, I thought it means something, the tension which was high over my head disappeared as the word passed through my ears, same goes for the dam that was caught in my mouth suddenly fell into my throat the second I saw Levi changing his wrath looks into a bright warm smile which could embrace me at any time.

As my feet landed on the ground, he opened his arms to welcome me home; just like what boyfriend-girlfriend always do, or perhaps husband-wife. At that moment, my face couldn’t help but show a defensive reaction because it was suspicious that Levi Atwood could turn easily like that, my brow was higher than a mountain as I made my way toward him, but a small smile still etched my lips.

Then his mother popped out of nowhere and it obviously proves that Levi did that because of the existence of his mother, not because that word means something.

“Love, I forgot to inform you that we’ll have family dinner tonight” Mr. Vampire declared with a hug
