Sansa's Pov

Shadows danced on the walls as I sat facing my stern grandfather, anxious to solve the mystery of my parents' remarkable love. The air was tense because I knew how he felt about anything non-human, especially my mother, a werewolf—the very kind he was famed for hunting.

"Lay me next to your mother when I close my eyes for the rest of my life, and I will rest in peace," my father's ultimate wish to be buried near the woman he loved, my mother, resonated in my thoughts.
