Eon woke up in a snap. Something that never happened to him before. He stretched his arm and his brows creased tightly. His arm wasn’t cramping and the side of Lina’s bed was cold…he jerked up from the bed when it registered in his brain, still drunk with sleep, that Lina wasn’t next to him.
