A Warning

Eon stood close to Lina when she swiped her card key in her door. He pushed the door wider when he heard the door click.

Lina grunted but didn’t say anything. If she says something, a discussion would just ensue. She doesn't want to debate with Eon anymore. She just wanted him to go away, so she could finish packing her stuff and move to her new place. And she can't do that if Eon is hovering over her shoulders.

Eon knew that Lina was unhappy with him but he also knew that if he let her do whatever she wanted, she would just run away from him. And he can't afford that to happen. Thus, despite knowing that she doesn't want him to be inside her penthouse, he shamelessly strode inside, ahead of her as if he owns the place.

There was nothing out of the ordinary in the place. It has all the luxuries and comforts that you would expect from a penthouse. But what stopped Eon wasn't the luxurious design of the room, nor the pile of clothes that were scattered all over
