“What did you talk to my father about?” Larissa approached Lina with a new drink.

“Nothing much.” Lina creased her forehead because she just lied to Larissa. She had no thought of lying. Before Larissa approached her, she was thinking of asking her about the strange questions of Aaron but the moment Larissa asked her the question, she found herself lying without qualms as if her own survival was on the line. ‘I should just sleep and stop drinking coffee.’
