Hello, Father!

Eon let gravity pull him down, watching the trees upside down as he fell off the cliff. When he was halfway down, he let his wolf take over and leap, grabbing a rocky edge, pulling himself up, gracefully and in complete ease. Elyon and the other wolves were already waiting for him. They all had changed into their human form, waiting for him, cheering with awe.

“At least, you are in much better condition than your sports car.” Grinning with pride, Elyon welcomes him with a big hug. “Your father would be so happy to hear that you’re home.”

“I doubt that,” he whispered under his breath when he opened his arms to accept the brotherly hug that Elyon gave him. “It seemed like the pack had a lot of new faces,” he said as he scanned the men, mostly in their early twenties, standing a few feet behind Elyon.

“Silly! These young men were those boys that were crying behind you as you left us.”
