Her heart was thundering in her ears as she leaned against the closed door of her bedroom. Her knees were shaking as she strained her ears to listen. After the shattering of some glass, the house went quiet but she didn’t dare go out.
This is one of the times that she wished she was linked with Eon and Galan. If she does, she can ask for help, well, she could. But Eon right now is in his wolf form. He can’t and does not carry a freaking mobile phone. If they are asking for help, they howl.
