Unexpected Warning
Lina was waiting for Larissa’s message but she still got surprised when she saw her name on the screen of her phone, calling her.
“Hello, sorry if I disturb you,” she hastily said as soon as she received Larissa’s phone call.
“No worries. We’re friends.” She chuckled lightly. “But I can’t stay long. Everyone is busy since Eon just came back.” She went quiet for a long time and Lina could only hear some shouting in the background and the clanging of some pots. It seemed like Larissa was in the kitchen.
“I just want to know her name.” She said quietly. She was shaking when she said it, which made her furrow her brows. What’s with the woman in Eon’s wallet to evoke such strange emotion in her. “Hurry up with your coffee.” She pushed the coffee that Eon made for her away from her. She needed it away from because she was worried that in her annoyance, she would end up pouring him the coffee, or worse, she would end up pouring it to herself to put out the fire of desires that was lighted in her core with the way Eon looked at her. “Why do you keep on coming here at this hour?” Her brows were so tightly knit that they looked like they merged as one. “I want to see you first before I go to bed.” He replied with a straight face that annoyed the hell out of Lina because her resolve was slowly melting. “You want me to believe that?” She mumbled under her breath.
