Chapter 71: A Recovery Getaway

Lucas untied Selena's hands and feet and grabbed her on his arms.

The girl was unconscious, and he could barely see a part of her skin without blood or bruises.

He could only think that she was lucky to be alive. Shane had beaten her up until he broke a lot of bones and almost disfigured her face.

She did have the power to recover quick as a werewolf, but that wasn't going to be an easy recovery.

He took the stairs and met the others from his pack outside.

Some of them had captured a few people from Shane's pack and tied them up.

When they saw Selena's body on his arms, they opened their eyes in shock.

"Is she dead?" one of them asked.

Lucas shook his head in denial.

"He wouldn't kill her now." Lucas said, swallowing the rage he was feeling.

"What should we do with them?" Eliza, the woman that was by his side at the beginning asked, shaking a man from Shane's pack tied in front of her.

The guy was in a pretty bad shape.

"Take them to that shack at our village. I'll deal with them later
