Caroline's Point Of View

I brought the phone from my ear and gulped before placing it back.

"Mike? How?"

"Oh, darling, you thought I wouldn't come back for you? You're mine, Caro... I'll always come back for you, baby."

"Where are you? We need to talk."

I did as he said, and my eyes caught him sitting on a bench with his super-hot signature smirk plastered on his lips. He looks handsome as ever, even more handsome than he looked 20 years ago.
