Chapter 3

We finished classes, we left the university and Ana was waiting for us outside, leaning on a car.

"Look there is Ana," Marcos tells me.

"Hey guys," Ana beckons us, we approach her.

"And this car?" Marcos asks, looking at the vehicle.

"It's mine, it's not the latest model, but something is something, worse is nothing, let's go eat something."

"Ah, I don't know," I say hesitantly, "then I won't find a way to go to my apartment, I don't know this city."

"Easy, I'll take you, I'm from here and I know this city by heart."

I accepted and we went to a small cafe, we ordered pizza, we were waiting for our order when the unfriendly boy entered the establishment.

"Oh no." I tried to cover myself with the menu card.

-What happens? Ana asks, approaching me.

"That boy, I saw him this morning and he's very unfriendly," I tell him.

-Y? What does a boy have to see you? Ana asks me.

—The problem is not that he has seen me, but that he dared to call me ugly without knowing me and to top it off I had to see two subjects with him.

"Oh, I hadn't gotten a good look at him, but that's the most handsome boy in college."

-And that? That does not matter to me.

-The most handsome? "Says Marcos," and where am I? I am very handsome.

"Ay Marcos, you're like the fifth on the list," Ana says, making fun of him.

-The fifth? How about the fifth? I'm very handsome, "says Marcos, putting a hand on his chest," also look at this great body, wait, is there a list?

"How crazy you are, you talk and you don't know anything," Ana says, laughing.

"But who makes a list of handsome boys? You women are a serious case."

"You're going to say you don't have a list," Ana tells him.

"Well, no," Marcos says, hesitating.

—You see, yes, you were hesitant to answer, so you can't complain if you do the same.

"But the fifth, how far am I?"

"That's not that far," I tell Marcos, "I must be the last on your list."

"If it's far, and you just got here so they haven't taken you into account on the list yet."

—Oh, who cares about those lists, let's forget about that, let's be happy as we are without paying attention to what others say.

"Of course you say it because you don't care about your image, I do care a lot, that's why I go to the gym often, where do you think these guys come from?" Marcos says showing the muscles in his arms.

—Yes, yes, of course, and don't mess with my image, I do care, I just think it's not necessary to wear so much makeup.

"It's true what Ana says," I tell Marcos, "I don't wear that much makeup either."

Our pizza arrived and we began to eat, suddenly someone approached and stood next to me.

"Look who's here, it's the ugly girl from the taxi again." I already know whose voice it is, it's the unpleasant boy.

"What do you want? Now it seems that someone else is following me," I say.

—No honey, don't get your hopes up, I always come to this cafeteria to eat.

"Well, it's just a coincidence then, I don't even know your name, much less where you're going."

"Or like I told you before, it's fate," he whispers in my ear, those words sent a chill down my spine, "goodbye ugly."

He went to the counter, retrieved a pizza, and left the place.

"He really is unfriendly," Ana says.

"The truth is that this girl surprises me, no one is silent," Marcos says.

"I'm like that, I like to say what I think to my face," I tell them.

"And that's the attitude," Marcos tells me, raising a hand to clash with mine to what I did.

"How I would like to be like you," says Ana, "but I'm a very coward."

We finished eating the pizza and Ana takes me to my apartment, I get out of the car and say goodbye to them, Ana had to take Marcos, I went up the stairs to my apartment, went to my apartment, took a bath and went to bed in my bed, my cell phone rang and I see it's about Clara.

"Hello friend, how was your day?" He wrote me in a message.

"Hello friend, it went well for me, as I had already told you during the day," I reply.

"Oh, I miss you, it's not the same without you, I'm afraid they'll bully me again."

"I told you that you don't have to let yourself do that, we are already young, you have to know how to defend yourself, just like I did today."

-What happened? You hadn't told me any of that.

—A girl here tried to mess with me, but I already solved it, you know that I am not silent.

—In each house of study there are people like that, I just hope it doesn't happen to me again.

—Just do what I told you and you will see that it will be good friend.

—Ok I'll follow your advice, I'll let you go to sleep tomorrow I have to get up early and you know very well that it's hard for me.

"Yeah, I know, you're a heavy sleeper." Ok friend, let's talk, bye.

I said goodbye to Clara and fell asleep, the next day I continued with my routine when I got up, I left my apartment and went down the stairs, when I was going through the floor that is below mine I saw that someone left their apartment and I could not believe That it was the unfriendly boy, to my bad luck, I tried to rush down the stairs so he wouldn't see me but it was impossible.

"But look at what a coincidence," she says, approaching me, "but if she's the ugly one again."

-What are you doing here? I ask him.

"It's not obvious," he says, "I live here in that apartment, or do you think I'm going to go into a building to take a tour?" And besides going into the rooms to greet everyone?

"Of course not, that's silly and incoherent."

"You're saying it yourself, and what floor do you live on?"

"Upstairs, in the 3D apartment, also why am I telling you where I live?" if it's none of your business

"Well, you already told me, maybe I'll come by one day."

—And like what or what? If you don't know me.

"Of course I know you, you're the ugly girl in the taxi," he says, smiling.

"Oh, I don't even know what I'm doing here talking to you." I keep going down the stairs.

"Wait ugly, since we go to the same university, let's go in my car."

Was this guy inviting me to go with him? What happens? Do you call me ugly and want me to go just like that in your car like nothing? I see the time on my watch and I notice that it is already late, taking a taxi was difficult, so I had no choice but to accept, because I did not want to be late on my second day of classes.

"Yes, since it's your fault that I was late," I tell him.

"Is it my fault?" —He says to me— ah of course, I accept being guilty of being irresistible —he says to me with a smile, I just made a deaf ear.

We got to the parking lot of the building and got into the boy's car, and as soon as we left the building we left at full speed.

"Why are you driving so fast?" I ask him, "I don't want to die."

"Oh, how dramatic you are, it's already late so we have to go fast if we don't want traffic to catch us."

"Yes, but please drive carefully. I'm too young to die."

"Yes, yes, by the way ugly, and what's your name?"

"Why do you want to know my name?"

"Oh well, if you prefer me to call you ugly for life, that's fine by me."

"My name is Amy," I say looking out the window.

"I'm Cristian, and what brought you here?" Because you are not from this city.

—To study, where I live they don't give the degree, that's why I had to come here.

We arrived at the university, when Cristián parks the car, he gets out and to my surprise he opened the door for me like a real gentleman, everyone who was there looked at us, surprised to see me get out of Cristián's car.

"Thank you," I say with a smile, "and you didn't need to do that. I could open the door."

"I'm a gentleman, any girl who gets in my car I'll open the door for her, don't think you're special."

"Unfriendly," I tell him and head toward the entrance of the university.

"And so you thank me?" He asks, approaching me.

"I already thanked you, and does it offend you that they tell you the truth?"

"No, because I know it's not the truth," he says, smiling.

I ignored him and continued inside the university, I went to the lockers and there were Marcos and Ana.

"Hi guys," I greet them with a smile.

"Hey, tremendous," Ana says to me, "how is it that you arrived with Cristián?"

"Wao, the news gets around here fast," I tell him.

"Well, yes, here all the news travels fast, it's as if they are always watching us," Marcos says.

-Y? Ana asks me.

"Ah ...

At that time the bell rang and I could not continue speaking, because we had to go to class and here you could not be late because otherwise they would not let you pass, this university was very strict with punctuality.

"I'll tell you what happened later, okay?" See you, I have to go to my class.

I left them there and went to my classroom, I arrived just in time, the teacher had not arrived yet, and to my surprise, which was getting used to me, Cristián was there again, is it serious? am I in all classes with this boy?
