Chapter 4

"Hey ugly, see you again," Cristian tells me with a smile.

"I told you my name is Amy," I said crossing my arms with a frown.

"Ah sorry Amy, it's the custom," he says still smiling.

"I hope this is the last time," I tell him.

"Sure heaven, I give you my word," he says, approaching me.

The truth is that every time I'm close to Cristián I feel nervous, I don't know why, every word he says makes a shiver run down my spine, he got so close to me that I immediately blushed, the truth has never been a boy had When I got so close, our classmates started to enter and the teacher, saved by the bell, I thought, fixed my gaze on the teacher and tried to calm my nerves.

The class began, Cristián was sitting behind me, all that time he felt a look at me, but it was not uncomfortable, on the contrary, it was pleasant, before the end of the class the teacher assigned us a task and he himself was in charge of grouping us, I just had to play with Cristián, the class ended, I gathered my things and left the room; I was on my way to the cafeteria when someone took my arm.

"Hey, are you mad at me?" I turn around and see that it's Cristián.

"Not at all," I reply.

"And why did you leave the room so quickly?"

"Because I have to meet my friends in the cafeteria."

At that moment Anabel called Cristián and approached him and literally threw herself in his arms.

"Cristián my love, where are you going?" He asks in a horrible squeaky voice.

"Hi Anabel," Cristián responds very kindly, "I'm going to the cafeteria."

"And were you planning to go with this dwarf?" Please tell me no, that would ruin your reputation, just look at her, she has no style.

Is seriously? She was talking about me like I wasn't there, seriously, who does this girl think she is?

"Don't call her that Anabel," Cristián tells her.

"Not calm, I don't waste time with skinny brains," I tell Cristián.

Anabel was left open-mouthed by the words I said, I just turned around and continued on my way to the cafeteria.

"You're going to pay me unfortunate," Anabel yelled at me. I just raised my hand as a sign of farewell without turning around and I continued on my way.

I got to the cafeteria and there were Ana and Marcos at a table waiting for me.

"Hey little here," Marcos says raising his hands to see him.

"Hi guys, how was your day?" I ask them with a smile and sit down.

"Hey, don't think I have forgotten the conversation that we had pending," Ana tells me.

"The truth is not interesting at all, Ana," I say lazily.

—I don't care, you tell me and I say if it's interesting for me or not.

"You women do like gossip," Marcos says, finishing eating.

"It's not gossip," Ana says, glaring at him, "it's being informed, besides, not long ago you told me that you also wanted to know, so now don't come to me with those."

I was just watching the discussion between them very funny, these two will end up being boyfriends if they continue like this.

—Ok, ok, I'll tell you why I arrived with Cristián, although as I told you —I look at Ana— it's not interesting at all, so don't go and make movies in your mind.

"Oh yeah, leave the detours and tell us," Ana says, settling in her chair and Marcos too.

"Well, I'll tell you, it turns out, it happens and it happens that Cristián lives in the same building where I live," I tell them, crossing my arms, to which Ana's jaw dropped.

"I can't believe it, oh that's fate," Ana says in her shrill, very excited voice.

"Oh no Ana, you are also going to tell me that" it is destiny, "I say, imitating a thick voice.

"Why that friendly voice?" - Ana tells me laughing - you should also know that chance does not exist, what else happened?

—Nothing interesting, he only offered to bring me because obviously we studied at the same university and I accepted only because it was already late ... That's all.

"It's good that nothing else happened," Marcos says.

-Because you said so? Ana asks, surprised.

"Ah, because ...

"Hey Amy, there you are," interrupts Cristián, "I was looking for you."

"And for what or what?" -I answer him.

"To agree on the biology homework, I remind you that we are together."

—Of course I remember Cristian, I wouldn't forget it, we just got out of that class.

"Well then?" —He sits next to me— do we do it at your house or mine?

"Ah ...

"In your house," Ana says as if she were asking her.

"Perfect, then I'll wait for you tomorrow at three, you know where it is." He winks at me and leaves.

"Are you serious Ana? Why did you answer for me?" I ask my resigned friend.

"Because you needed it, friend, you'll thank me later." She took her things and left.

He left me with the word in my mouth, I sat there processing what had happened, Marcos was still there, but he was on his cell phone, how could I go to Cristián's house? I really wanted to die, Why did Ana do this to me?

"Hey little one," Marcos speaks to me, pulling me out of my thoughts. "Are you okay?"

"Didn't you realize what just happened?"

"Ah nope, sorry I wasn't paying attention."

—Forget it Marcos, we are going to class and it's time.

I saw the classes that I was missing and when I left I walked home, I wanted to clear my mind, as I like to read, I decided to stop by the public library to find a book and read it at home, as my room had a balcony that overlooked a beautiful view of the city I thought it would be a good place to read, I arrived at the library and started looking for a good book, I spent several minutes looking at the covers of the books, so far none of them seemed interesting to me, until finally I found one, I went to the library manager and told her that I would take that book, she wrote down my information on a spreadsheet and I left the library, when I left it was already night, yes it had taken me.

I was walking down the street when suddenly a guy took me by the arm and led me into an alley, it looked like he was drugged, I tried to get out of him but I couldn't, I didn't have that much strength, until someone came and took it from me. On top of that, he started beating him until the man was unconscious, he couldn't see who the person was because of the darkness, but I left the alley and started running, I was too scared, and I didn't even know who it was that was there, maybe it was Another drug addict, I ran and ran but my legs were shaking and I could not run too fast, until I felt that they took me by the arm again, I let out a cry because of the fear I was feeling at that moment.

"Hey Amy, it's me," they say turning me around, when I turn around I see that it's Cristián.

"Cristián" I hug him and I start to cry, he hugged me.

"Easy, I'm here, I'm not going to let them hurt you," he hugs me tightly and massages my back. "Come on I'll take you home."

We arrived at the building and went inside, we went up the stairs to my apartment, Cristián did not want to leave me alone even though I had already told him that I was fine, I went into my apartment and he stood at the door, I had no choice but to invite him to pass.

"Can you tell me why are you alone at night in a place you don't know?" Cristián tells me in a demanding tone, how daring, he was nothing of mine to ask me for explanations.

"I just went to get a book and when I left it was already dark, what did you want me to do?"

—But you could look for that book tomorrow day, this city is full of dangerous people, you can't go out alone at night, if I hadn't been there who knows what that guy would have done to you.

—Oh, Cristian stop scolding me, you look like my dad, besides, what were you doing there, was it that you were following me? And don't tell me it was a coincidence because I'm not going to fall for that.

—Sorry Amy, but I'm not going to lie to you, yes I followed you and saw that you entered the library, it took you a long time, I only went out for a moment and you were gone, I started looking for you and that's when I saw that that disgusting pig had you in that alley.

"It bothers me a lot that you've been following me," I say crossing my arms and frowning, "but I'm glad you were there to defend me," I say with a smile. "Thank you."

"I always hope to be there for you," he says, approaching me, I immediately blush, "my ugly one."

"Hey, you promised you wouldn't say that to me anymore."

"I didn't tell you ugly," he says very close to me, "I told you my ugly one, which is very different." He kisses me on the forehead.

I was speechless, I just stood there like a fool while he left my apartment.
