Anger flared out of her nose as she shoved me out of the way–my eyes widened at her audacity. This was my house for fuck sake!

"Excuse you?" I snapped, brows arched in incredulity.

"Yeah, right." She snapped her fingers in my face and chewed the poor bubble gum poorly. "Look, I'm not here for long talks or shit. We're not friends."

She glanced around my house then locked gazes with Maya. "Hi," she said, sparing Maya a sweet smile which my best friend mirrored.

After the friendly expression they shared, she returned her gaze to my face and her smile turned upside down.

"As I was saying." She blew a bubble and popped it noisily, rolling her finger in her hair. "You and Lola are friends right?"
