Adelie POV

Waking up very early in the morning to find myself alone in the room gives me so much freedom and the chance to do my things how I do them on normal days. It's 5am, and I still have much time to get ready for work.

Sitting up on the bed, I run my fingers through my hair tiredly, like I should just go back to sleep. I couldn't sleep well last night since I was a bit uncomfortable with Asher in the same room as me. I was scared he might harm me in my sleep, or maybe force himself on me. I know it's unfair to think that of him, but for someone who does all those dirty things with me as his sister, I doubt if there's anything else he's not capable of, or if he's not capable of doing worse.

My phone starts ringing, and even if I haven't checked yet who the person is, I know that it's Raymond.. I'm really putting that dude through a lot, and I feel guilty for the things I'm doing to him. I answer his call this time because it'll be so unfair to ignore h
