Naomi's POV
This was my first time in a charity event. The charity event was hosted by one of the partners of Madagascar incorporated company. The ladies looked extravagant in their expensive designers dress, while the men looked exquisite.
Steven stood by my side all through. Although it was awkward at first but it later, it got different. I felt warmth when Steven introduced me as his wife, although it was by paper and we were not romantically involved, it was was nice.
Shit! I muttered, pulling me heels as soon as I stepped my feet inside the house.
"My feet are killing me," i whine to Steven. Steven chuckled lightly, "Let me help you massage them," He suggested, taking a hold of my wrist as he led me to take a sit.

I felt as ease having a friend by my side and not sucking around thinking of Steven who hurt me. In as much as I tried not to think of Steven, thoughts of situation where he and Marenda were obviously doing some stuff which I didn't want to imagine but whenever thoughts like that crossed my mind, my heart ached."Let's go get ice cream?"
