The light was too bright, she thought to herself as she tightened her eyes. She slowly raised her hand to cover her eyes so that she could open them. She squinted them open, only to see talk trees surrounding her. A quick memory of her sitting alone in the Dark Forest swiped past her vision and she jerked up instantly, looking frantically.
