Days had passed since the wedding and it was the last day of the wedding feast, Zenith had been too busy with dealings with the blight issues he could hardly join while Selda had been roaming the palace to check how it was and the respect she had been getting was overwhelming. Even though the person she wanted the kind of respect from was ignoring her, it was just a matter of time, she said to herself.

She walked down the stairs, her heels clicking against the ground. Her brother, Lionel, was leaving today. She has been refusing to meet him since the wedding day because she did not want to spark any rumors. It was at this point, that she knew she had to be careful about who she met, Soli had warned her like she did not know.

Getting to where Lionel was, she stopped and watched Mathias who stared at Lionel head-on. Glancing around, she noticed Zenith was not here to send his in-laws home. Anger coursed through her veins at his arrogance. She faced her brother and managed to smile. “Hope
