When the men stepped into the bar ahead of the ladies, Holly placed a hand on Valerie’s arm and held her back. Confused, Valerie turned to the redhead. “What’s wrong?” she asked.
Holly pressed her lips into a thin line as she shook her head. “Nothing’s wrong,” she said. “I just wanted to give you the ground rules for the night.”
