13. Lies

I spent the whole day with Ingrid. And curiosity kept growing and all I could think of was go to my room and go over those words. I wanted to know who she was and what was written underneath.

At first, Ingrid had succeeded to move my thoughts away from the subject but as time went on I got more curious. It was eating my mind.

It was time for dinner and the two of us were called to the dining room. I knew Kyson would be there so I decided that it was payback time and in the way, I thought of doubling the price.

Ingrid and I arrived as the food was set on the tables. I took my seat far away from him, of course not evening sparing him him a glance. Nevertheless, I could still sense his gaze as I sat down but I ignored as I put all my concentration on the food in front of me. It was very appetizing to both the eyes and my stomach as well.

I ate fast wanting to get away from his gaze which was now becoming hard to ignore, and I had a dire situation which awaited in my room. When I finished
