By now, both the fake Doctor N and Penelope had arrived. The fake Doctor N cried out, “No! You can’t let the madam go in for the surgery!”

When the nurse saw Doctor N approaching them, she stopped and looked at each of them, not sure who to listen to.

“Get ready,” Ember said as she gave the fake Doctor N a look with a dark expression on her face.

“No!” The fake Doctor N was also quite persistent. “I’m the madam’s primary doctor, and Mr. Lane has allowed me to handle everything. You’ll naturally have to listen to me. Can you bear the responsibility if anything happens during the surgery?”

Ember took a deep breath and said almost in a whisper, “Grandma is in real danger now, and I don’t have time to argue with you. I don’t care if you’re real or fake, if you’re threatening Grandma’s life, I won’t show you any mercy.”

The fake Doctor N couldn’t say anything out of shock and guilt to the point of taking a step back.

When Penelope saw what was happening, she wiped non-existent tears f
