27: Dark Path

"How is she?" The moment I opened my eyes, I heard people chatting outside.

The moment I realized in my mind who they were, I immediately stood up from my bed and slowly lifted myself up. The pain is still here and I can feel it in the depths of my flesh but this time I can tolerate it and act according to my will but of course they still have their limits that's why I still have to be careful.

I opened my eyes and was dazzled by the sunlight, my face was burning as the rays from the sun hit me. I think I was so sleepy that I didn't realize the time and woke up late. I closed my eyes for a moment and blew air, because of my long sleep I could feel the comfort it gave me. It was as if something gave me a proper rest. I feel great farther from my body today than yesterday.

I looked up when someone walked in, when our eyes met, I was so pleased that I finally saw her again. She walked towards where I was and dropped the medicines she was holding on the wooden table.

"How are you feeling
