Chapter 25: We Deserve A Break!

Layla's Perspective:

"Layla pick up your phone for God's sake!" A voice reached into my ears as soon as my eyes opened.

The sunlight coming through my window was falling onto my face and disturbing my sleep. I rubbed my eyes as the phone kept ringing. I slept very late last night and I thought that it was okay as it's a weekend. Oh gosh, I deserve a break. The phone finally stopped as I pulled the blanket over my face. Yesterday was very long and tiring and all I need was to sleep the whole day.

I was about to sleep once again when the phone started ringing again. Cursing under my breath and removing the blanket from my face, I finally picked up the call.

"Ya! You should respect people who work all week long and finally get to sleep on weekends. Disturbing someone when they are asleep is a crime!" I said in an annoying and tired voice, not knowing who was
