Chapter Eleven: Things to Remember
As he went downstairs, with the meal in his hand, he saw Ligaya sitting by the dining table while drinking something. He argued with his thoughts at first but decided to just do it, to just approach her. For a moment they were silent, but then Ligaya began to speak.
"I found out the value of everything I had thrown away. Don't worry, I will pay you-"
"Stop it...I am not angry about the food. I am angry about the idea of disrespect that you showed me. Touching my belongings without my permission is an invasion of privacy. And wasting food is also grave sin. But of course, I know how...uninformed you are about some things in this world. So, let's just forget about what happened." He meant it. Though he couldn't deny his annoyance, which was still obvious on his face.

Mia was surprised when Ligaya showed up at their classroom's doorway after her class. She was used to have some visitors before, like Benjie and the squad, but they're annoying. Ligaya was a different case. Ligaya looked at the boys blankly. This expression of hers did not surprise them anymore, although, they admitted that it did make them feel anxious most of the time."I don't need your money." she finally answered. After V woke her up in the car, Ligaya did not bother to eat anymore. None of them bothered to eat actually. They were too full to take in another meal. As they went inside, Ligaya immediately went to the kitchen where she would usually sleep while V went upstairs. -----------------The house was dark and silent. Ligaya, who was just sleeping on the long wooden chair in the kitchen was having a good rest, until midnight, when everything went colder and darker than usual.
