Tina remembered her father had left them since Jude was a baby, saying he was tired of their mother, and he left with another woman, who was controlling him then.

Tina sighed as she waited for her mother to step out, and she asked, "What happened, mom? When did he return?."

"He came back with the lady that he previously ran away with. I should've been back before now, but the elders were trying to settle the lady as she refused to leave without your father following her back to the city. She claimed your father wanted to abandon her; now she was getting older. And your father claimed she hadn't given him any children since all those years he had been living with her and sleeping with her, so he couldn't continue with her, and he returned back to us."
