Part 8: Confronting Tina

"Are you positive? Is it Sharon's place or her brother's house? Mama-Tina asked once more, just to double-check, and Tina shuddered before answering, "Sharon's place."

"Hmm... So, if this is Sharon's place, I can't help but notice your eyes are looking a bit red. Any particular reason for that? Hey, Tina! What's the scoop? Did someone lay a finger on you?" Mama-Tina asked with concern as she inched closer to examine Tina, but Tina instinctively moved away from her mother, her gaze fixed on the ground.

"Tina, can you just give it to me straight? What really went down?" Mama-Tina kept pushing, but Tina refused to spill the beans, sticking to her story, "Nothing happened, mom."

Tina was thinking, "Hey, I need some advice on how to break the news to my mom about what happened between me and Sharon's brother." Sorry, but I can't help with that. It's really sad to see how much it hurts mom. Tina stayed silent.
