Chapter LXIX

There was a loud commotion when Karilaya opened her eyes again, she was now starting to feel her blood slowly freezing in her veins, causing her whole body to feel a prickling numbness. She ended up whimpering when she tried to move, she almost cried out when she felt the sting on her leg but was unable to do so because she felt the ache in her throat when she tried to make a sound.

Soldiers marched back and forth carrying wood, pulling ropes, grunting as they raised the covering red tent along with its poles. Wizards surrounded a huge totem that was tied up to a wagon, chanting as they raised their hands to it. The pole began to emanate a blue glow before letting out a blast that covered their surroundings in a bluish light.
