Karilaya could not hide the smile on her face, there was not a single mark that was left on her leg after performing the spell she thought of. Grumbling as he sat on the throne, Alexander could not help but tap his fingers on the chair's armrest. It had already been several hours since he had woken up but already he had not rested nor stopped moving, ordering his soldiers around along with preparing, after finding out that his lady had gone missing, all because of the witch’s some failed attempt at a ritual that he had no knowledge of.“What’s taking so long,” he growls gripping tightly on the armrest. Gloom welcomed him when the guards opened up the two large doors, the faint glow of candles danced on the crimson velvet curtains as he entered. Shadows immediately crawled all over him when the door closed, leaving him in a somewhat desolate space.Alexander could feel the damp cold air grazing on his bare skin with each step. Her head felt so light that she was barely able to keep her eyes open but she still fought the urge to slumber. Luckily the adrenaline of danger was giving her strength to fully succumb to slumber, knowing that it could be fatal if ever she falls asleep.For now, all she could think of was the things that the witches were doing, she kept in mind all the flaws of the spell they used, the method they were using, how they were doing it, and its purpose.
