Though she was still tied and encased, Karilaya managed to let out a sigh of relief, thankful to breathe fresh air when the lid where she was finally opened, she graciously welcomed the cold air, not caring that had a foul, mossy smell that could turn her stomach over.

The freedom of seeing the outside and finally being able to at least move her hands not just to her side were enough.

Yet her small sense of celebration was immediately taken away when she saw the being wearing a red, satin dress in front of her.

“Hello there, my lady,” it greeted, slowly stating each word.

Even though it was raspy, Karilaya knew the voice belonged to the witch Lilian. The woman let out a smile that caused the hard, black flesh on her cheeks to fall off, turning to dust before it even reached the ground, it then turned into a cloud of smoke-like dust, slithering back to its place.
