Charlotte's POV

After Humphrey finished bandaging my nose, things were a bit awkward. I couldn't help but remember what he had said earlier, about how he had feelings for me. I had been so caught up in the fight and the aftermath that I hadn't really processed it until now.

Humphrey seemed to sense the awkwardness and tried to break the silence. "So, Charlotte, are you feeling any better?"
