"Class dismissed!" said our teacher. Jaz immediately stood up, and so did I to follow her. "Hey! Are we fighting?!" I asked, holding her hand. "You're the one who started it, Anika!" Jaz insisted, then turned me away. My grip on her loosened. I followed her with a grumpy face. "Why are you like that?!" I shouted again. "What's wrong, Anika?!" She responded, stopped, and faced me. I don't know why Drake's hand on my shoulder is such a big deal to her. Even though I was annoyed, I still couldn't bear it and chased after her. "ANIKA! Hang on!" I shouted while running. [NARRATOR] ANIKA was restless in her seat. Jaz was occupying her mind. She constantly looked at her watch, waiting for the following subject to talk to Jaz. The professor noticed Anika was not focusing on the lesson, so she was put on the spot. "Ms. Hodgens, can you answer problem number one from the board?" it said seriously. Her subject is Calculus 1 today, whereas Jaz is on a different schedule because she enrolled late.
