Chapter 67 THE REVELATION

"Andra in my office.. Now!" We both turn to Anika.

"See you around, Jaz.." Andra left me with a smile.

"So you and Gillian are now in separate ways?" Andra began with her interrogation.

"It's her choice, Andra. Don't look at me like that.."

"I thought you guys were going strong.. What happened?!"

"She wants me to marry her.." I blurted out.

"Then that's great news.. Are you not going there?"

"You know that I can't .."

"You can't? Or you won't? That's different, Anika. Is it because of that girl?"

"Whose girl?" throwing her question too. I met Andra in Vancouver when I was coping up, giving my best shot to continue living after being tormented by untangling from Jaz.

"Oh, come on. You know who I'm talking about. Do you still have feelings for her? But she's married?"

"I know, Andra. There's no need to remind me.."

While chatting with my best friend, I didn't expect my mom to show up.
