A TRESSPASSER.

AUTHOR’S POV.

Daniel stood by the chair in the dining room and dropped the glass of hot coffee in his hand.

“Is she not coming?” He turned around and asked the maid who he had asked to go check on the woman.

“Her door is locked from inside, so I could not enter, sir,” she answered with a bow.

Daniel glanced at the wristwatch on his wrist and breathed out. It was almost time for him to leave and the woman was nowhere in sight.

Maybe she had chosen to not work anymore.

Since the Saturday night they had had that issue, the woman had been avoiding him like he was a plague.

That was her forte after all. Running from issues instead of facing them was something she was good at and he decided to not overstep his boundaries too.

He picked up the glass cup and drank the remaining coffee in it before he picked up his phone that was lying on the table.

As he walked out of the dining table, he halted abruptly as he watched the woman that appeared in his sight.
