I pressed my lips together as I stood beside the door to the coffee room and listened to their conversation.

It was the third day I was working here and these people did not fail to show to me that they were not pleased with me.

Apart from the fake evident bows they give to me each time they come to my table or when I walk past them, I knew they were not pleased with me as I heard their murmurs.

“Tina, can you stop being bitter? That woman does not even look like she has our time or anything,” an older woman said.

“Who cares if she does not? It does not change the fact that she stole my man!”

Oh my God, how many women are obsessed with Daniel?

“Come on, Christiana, what kind of hatred is in your heart? Are you so bitter that the boss bagged a pretty woman?”

“Do you see how she looks at me? She looks at me with so much contempt in her eyes! “Mr. Preston is not in his seat, would you check back later,”
