AUTHOR’S POV.

“What’s wrong?”

Hilda asked Sapphire after a while of totally spacing out.

Sapphire jerked back and swallowed hard, “Ah… nothing,” she shook her head, pressed the home button of her phone, and then returned it to the nightstand.

“Unless you want him dead, do not heed my instructions.”

She had no idea why those words were bothering her and she could only imagine on her own.

She soon let go of her thoughts and then returned to talking to Hilda.

“What’s your plan for the weekend? Let’s hang out,” she said.

“I am going to meet Liam's mum with him on Sunday.”

“His mum?”

“Her grave site. He said he wants to show me to her,” she grinned.

Sapphire smiled and then nodded her head. “I’m glad your perspective about relationships has changed anyway.”

“It’s always been the same. Nothing changed,” Hilda shook her head and Sapphire smacked her tongue.

“Little liar.”

After Hilda left, which remained only her in the room, she breathed out as boredom started to set in.
