Sapphire did not know how long she lay in bed as she wondered and tried to solve the puzzle before she slept off.

When she had returned to the room earlier, she hurried to the inner room she had discovered the previous week and checked the boxes again. It was definitely tied the same way Agatha had tied the ribbon.

Of course, it could be a coincidence, but it was surely no coincidence that she lied about working here for two years when she’d been working for him for more than that.

In fact, she was convinced that the design of the ribbon was similar. Because it was not common, and because it was unique, she knew that there was a huge link between Agatha and this person.

Sapphire stirred in her sleep as she felt a hand tap her and when she opened her eyes and met with the smiling face of Agatha, she sprang up and moved to the other side of the bed.
