DANIEL’S POV.

I stepped out of my office as I adjusted my tie and then stopped abruptly when I heard the sound of a notification. I checked my phone and then looked around when I found out it was not from me.

I walked to Sapphire’s table, and picked up the phone that was lying there, and pressed the home button.

She had gotten a message.

I was about to drop the phone when my eyes caught the message and I clicked on it immediately.

“Is it just me or do you really seem to be taking me for a joke?”

My brows pulled together as I read and thenI tilted my head. Thankfully, her phone was not password protected so I began to read through the messages from the person.

The kind of air that hit me immediately made me feel so cold as goosebumps covered my body.
